LVW Honored by Colorado Springs

December 8th, 2011

Colorado Springs, CO - LVW owners and founders John Borchert (President) and Rusty Griffith (CEO) were honored (along with Vice President Patricia Lewis) on Thursday for their company's commitment to bring new jobs to the Pikes Peak Region. At a luncheon held specifically to honor local business leaders, the Colorado Springs Economic Development Council honored 22 companies for the work they've done in 2011 to foster new business growth in the area, highlighting the benefits of participation in the vibrant business community based at the foot of the Colorado Front Range.

LVW Electronics was cited for their accomplishments in capturing new work with the US Army Corps of Engineers in early 2011, with an award to a 5-year multi-million dollar contract.

LVW’s Executive Vice President for Government Services, Bob Sanford, says that this is just the beginning. “We have a lot to look forward to. We are currently pursuing work all over the world, starting right here at home. We just opened a regional office in the Washington, DC area and have been supporting that office from our Colorado Springs headquarters, with some recent successes, including work at some of the Capital Region’s national landmarks.”

The owners and management of LVW are all in agreement that the future looks bright for LVW and the Colorado Springs area, and express satisfaction at playing a supporting role in the economic revitalization of the Pikes Peak region.
