LVW Awarded Contract to provide Force Protection Site Security System Solutions

Colorado Springs, CO – The Department of the Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Digital Directorate, Force Protection Branch (AFLCMC/HBUU) at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) has awarded a five-year Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract to provide Force Protection Site Security System Solutions (FPS4).

The FPS4 contract provides for acquisition, upgrade and sustainment of a family of physical and electronic security systems both within the US and at US Air Force sites abroad, including:

  • Fixed site Electronic Security Systems (ESS), including, but not limited to:
    • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
    • Access Control Systems (ACS)
    • Automated Entry Control Systems (AECS)
    • Surveillance Systems
  • Tactical security systems
  • Delay/denial systems
  • Counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAS)

With a contract ceiling of $783,000,000, LVW is confident that this award will result in significant growth over the next five years. LVW has been performing work for the Force Protection Branch as both a small business prime and a turn-key subcontractor for other primes since 2014 and is one of a handful of companies with the existing technological and programmatic capability to support this kind of work.

LVW has supported numerous projects for the Force Protection Branch with work at locations such as Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, Schriever AFB, Buckley AFB (all in Colorado) as well as at Minot AFB, ND, Dover AFB, DE, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Whiteman AFB, MO. LVW has supported these project with employees operating from our headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO.
